Saint Dreux

Address: Level 2, Shop 2/08/260 Collins St, Melbourne VIC 3000
Saint Dreux is a Japanese-inspired coffee and katsu sando bar, from the team behind speciality coffee bars Slater Street Bench, 580 Bench and Arkhe Tekhne. This fit out features a futuristic spin on Japan’s sliding bamboo shoji screens in matte-black alongside soft, glowing lightbox panels luring customers in to try their offerings, which are all crafted with obsessive attention to detail. Sourcing beautiful marble benches, rustic hand stained recycled timber, and manufacturing bespoke lightboxes and panels, Alcon Building Group have built the entire store from the ground up to realise Arkne Tekne’s vision with the same attention to detail as Saint Druex’s finely crafted Sando.

Construction Process

Every construction project undertaken by Alcon Building Group is carefully planned to ensure the works progress efficiently and safely. Projects typically involve coordination of multiple trades including demolition contractors, carpenters, electricians, plumbers and finishing trades.
Maintaining control over each stage of the project is essential to ensure the quality of work remains consistent throughout the build. Each stage is completed and checked before the next begins, helping avoid delays, rework and unnecessary costs.

Quality and Site Management

Successful construction projects rely on careful planning and experienced site management. Our team coordinates the sequence of works to ensure trades can operate efficiently and the project progresses according to schedule.
By maintaining clear communication between trades, consultants and clients, we ensure each project is delivered to a high standard while meeting the required engineering and building compliance requirements.
